Okay.... um I suck. This blog sorta sucks. My life sucks. This whole world sucks. I didn't start this blog for other people though, so its all good you know!

On to the actual post! So I absolutely adore Alt J! Anyone know them??? No? You suck! They are literally the most awesome band ever and I can prove it! There first major album was called an Awesome Wave so there! They must be awesome.

Quick summary stolen from Wiki (good old Wiki) Alt-J is an English indie rock band, formed in 2007 in Leeds, England. Their debut album An Awesome Wave was released in May 2012 in Europe and September 2012 in the United States and won the 2012 British Barclaycard Mercury Prize.

So by now I'm sure you just wanna hear them? Okay I'll let you in on my favourite three!!

I literally adore these songs to death! They are flipping amazing and I am so glad my brother introduced me to them! Now the main reason I decided to do this post on them is because there new album is coming out and they have released a new song and I am properly sh**ing myself over it!!! Here it is!

 

So I will try and be more regular on posting but honestly I suck so you never know when you will get a new post! Sorry!!!!!!!!

Butterfly Museum

So yesterday my mum was like "We're going to the butterfly museum," and so I was dragged to the butterfly museum with my younger bro and sis. I took my camera because I thought I could probably get some pretty good pictures so here they are!

I just thought I would explain a bit about it!! So it is basically a massive heated tent outside the natural history museum (In London) you just walk around and there's all these butterflies just flying around its pretty cool and some of them are really beautiful, here are the pictures for real.....

This was probably one of the most beautiful!

This one just landed on this ladies phone which was pretty cool!!

I know the quality of this ones rubbish but I had to zoom in because this butterfly was too awesome to not catch on camera.

When I saw this I actually laughed out loud its like a restaurant :)))

I am so annoyed about this one because it's zoomed in so you can't see how beautiful it really is!

This is my favourite butterfly from the whole day its so fricking beautiful!

So I also took a bunch of pictures of some really pretty flowers so um here they are too!!!

Haul!!!!!!!!!!

So basically my mum has been in LA for two weeks for work and she got back today. Because she is the best mum ever she bought me a bunch of clothes as a kind of "Sorry for being away"/"Well done on parents evening"/"Clothes are cheaper over there" and I thought I would show you what  I got! Without further ado here are the pictures of the stuff I got.....

Yes that's my foot and yes there is a whole in my sock...

Because my mother is my mother she buys me socks....

Anyway I just thought I would show you this because I really like it and I am just glad my mums back...!!! Sorry for the short post but I posted yesterday and the day before so its okay I think?

Music? You Mean Life?

I love music, a world without music would suck so much that I might actually do homework...Bad right? Anyway today I thought I would show you some of my favourite cause I mean who doesn't love music posts? Lets do this *stutters from bad word* stuff....

Dissolve Me, Alt J. I have always loved this song I mean it's just awesome (see what I did there, cause the albums called an awesome wave, no okay...) right? I just love it probably because it reminds me of being on holiday.

Home, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. So this is a pretty old song but I mean whats not to like!! At the moment I seem to like older songs because all the music around now is often electronic and that I really don't like!

No Strings, Chloe Howl. I don't really know what to say about this one, it's a little crazy and weird but maybe that's why I like it. She is just really cool and I just love this song!

 

Keep Your Head Up, Ben Howard. This song is just so calming and relaxing. I just love the simple melody and the lyrics there just so happy. I just love this so song so much! This song is exactly the kind of music I like (Excusing a few) I would also just like to add in how cool the music video is ok, because I so want to do this!!!

So there is a bunch of songs that you probably didn't even listen to but Ho Hey I'll just keep my head up (quoted the song there anyone see that, no okay...)

Okay how do I start this....

Hey and Welcome to my new blog! I guess I tell you a little about me right? Okay I love to read, write and I do a ton of sport. I love music on a whole and right now I have a broken toe and crutches! *Insert Sarcasm here* Fun! I am English and I live in London. My Dad's Swedish and my mums English. I'm Swinglish. I have two cats (Jaffa and Delilah.) Um is that enough? Nope okay, I am a bit of a fangirl, I love The Hunger Games, Divergent and The Fault in our Stars I really want to start reading the Mortal Instruments Series so yeah I hope that's enough because my laptops about to die so this is all I have time for!
